The Best Saturday of the Year, December 12th, is just around the corner! Help us serve a bit of hope and a lot of Christmas to up to 50 of our neighboring families this December! Please read each description and select where you'd like to serve. If you are able to serve for more than one time slot, please do. **MANDATORY MEETING- Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 6th from 12:30-2 for lunch and mandatory volunteer training**
Here are the teams we need this year:
- FAMILY GUIDE - Guide a family to experience each station; must be 18 or older
- KID ZONE - Play/supervise children; *requires background check
- SECRET SANTA - Assist children as they shop for family members; *requires background check
- FUN FACILITATORS - Help families decorate cookies, experience Santa, make family memories
- HOSPITALITY - Serve and restock drinks and snacks; serve and sit with guests
- SLEIGH LOADING ZONE - Help families load food and gifts into vehicles without children being aware
- PARKING/SECURITY - Direct parking, welcome families, ensure volunteers and guests are in appropriate parts of the building
- FAMILY TRANSPORTATION - Be available to drive families who do not have transportation, and their gifts, back to their homes
- MEDIA - Help capture the fun of the event through photography and videography
- DECOR - Decorating for Christmas on Sunday, November 22nd after 11am worship service
- SET UP - Set up rooms and take care of last minute details on Thursday, December 10th 5-8pm; dinner will be served
- TEAR DOWN - *BIG NEED* throw away garbage/ move decor/reset chairs and tables for Sunday worship immediately after event
